Claude Design + Figma -
works through Mowgli.

Claude Design is a code-centered design tool. It doesn't have a high-fidelity Figma import path today. If your starting point is a Figma file, the closest workflow is Mowgli - pixel-perfect import, AI iteration on a canvas, and possibly an export to Claude Design if you need Claude Design-specific fetaures.

How it works

1

The honest situation

Anthropic's Claude Design is built around code prototyping - you prompt, it writes code, you iterate on the code. It has a Figma import feature that imports your overall brand style (colors, fonts, etc.) but cannot import your existing screens or exact design systems.

2

Drop your Figma into Mowgli

If you need pixel-perfect imports, Mowgli imports full Figma files - every frame, every screen, every state. Layout, typography, and color come across faithfully. Most tools handwave on this; we treat it as a first-class feature.

3

Iterate on a canvas, with AI

Once it's in Mowgli, you can edit the design with a powerful, product-minded AI agent. Restyle pages, add missing screens, fix empty states. The canvas is built for visual iteration - and Mowgli keeps a spec in sync so the design stays anchored to a real product.

4

Export wherever you need to land (even to Claude Design)

Export back to Figma, create a clickable prototype, or an AI package for Claude Code or Codex. Or, if you want to continue in Claude Design, export a human package and provide it to Claude Design - it'll known how to import. That's the closest end-to-end path from a Figma file to "Claude built this".

What you get

A real Figma import

Pixel-perfect, full-file, product-aware.

AI iteration without leaving the design

Edit on a canvas, in natural language, with immediate visual preview. Ask for variations, add new flows, make small tweaks or sweeping changes - all in seconds.

A package that Claude Code and Claude Design understand

If you want to build your app quickly, the practical path is Mowgli → Claude Code, but you can also export your Mowgli-imported Figma to Claude Design. Simply select the Mowgli package export option andd hand it to Claude Design.

Round-trip back to Figma

You're not stuck in Mowgli. Native Figma export means your design team can keep working in the tool they already use.

Bring the Figma file. Skip the dead end.

Mowgli is the closest thing to "Figma into an AI design tool" that actually works today.
